Why Nikki Bella Believes The Time Is Now For A Second All-Women’s WWE PLE

Speaking at yesterday’s WWE SummerSlam Kickoff event, Nikki Bella made a definitive statement about the performance of the women’s roster at the company’s biggest show of the year, using it to champion the cause for another all-women’s premium live event.

“We all know who stole the show at WrestleMania (41); I’m just gonna say it was the women, and it’s time, it’s just very important, it makes me so happy that they’re gonna have a show dedicated to them,” Bella said.

The WWE Hall of Famer elaborated on the immense pride she feels watching the current crop of talent, noting how they have surpassed the high standards set by previous generations. Her comments position her as a strong advocate for bringing back the Evolution event.

“It means everything. Being a mom it’s kinda like the same feels, you’re so proud. What the women are doing today is incredible. When we always talk about you want someone to raise the bar, they’ve exceeded that beyond and I think it’s finally time to see what these women can do, all the women. One night, just for them,” Bella stated.

Bella’s advocacy comes shortly after her return to on-screen action. She made an appearance on WWE RAW two weeks ago, where she was attacked by Liv Morgan, setting up an anticipated match between the two. While an injury to Morgan has likely altered those plans, Bella’s history as a central figure in the Divas Revolution and as a main event competitor at the inaugural Evolution nearly seven years ago solidifies her influential voice on the matter.
