Worrying Update on Jey Uso Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi notices exhaustion in Jey Uso during recent meeting and encourages his son to embrace the moment ahead of championship match against Gunther.

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has shared details about a recent meeting with his son Jey Uso, who is preparing to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.

During a recent episode of his “Rikishi Fatu Off The Top” podcast, Rikishi described Jey’s physical state when they met.

He just looked like he was exhausted. He’s been on the run. While people are going home, he’s doing extras out there on the road. That comes with the responsibility of being the main event of any pay-per-view, but the biggest pay-per-view of [all] WrestleMania

Rikishi mentioned encouraging Jey to appreciate the significance of his WrestleMania opportunity.

I said ‘Alright, enjoy the ride. Enjoy the moment. This is what you wanted and do what you’re supposed to do. Do what you need to do. This is your moment’

Jey Uso earned his WrestleMania championship opportunity by winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match earlier this year.

After his Royal Rumble victory, Jey evaluated both Cody Rhodes and Gunther as potential opponents before ultimately deciding to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The match between Jey Uso and Gunther is scheduled as one of the main events at WrestleMania 41.
