Worrying update on Randy Orton’s health status
Randy Orton has been pulled from WWE programming after taking a “Piledriver” from Kevin Owens during Friday Night SmackDown. The company announced that Orton has been diagnosed with cervical neuropraxia and will be out of the ring for an undetermined period.
In the Behind The Turnbuckle: The War Room podcast, Jonathan Coachman raised questions about the true reason behind the absence of the 14-time WWE World Champion.
“This tells me there’s something going on. Over the years, many wrestlers have had to undergo neck fusion surgery due to the constant impacts in the ring. We’ve seen it happen to guys like Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, and The Brooklyn Brawler. I wonder if Randy is dealing with some issues, which would be terrible for him, especially since he just signed a new contract.”
The rivalry between Orton and Owens had been heating up in recent weeks, peaking with the “Prizefighter” unleashing a banned move in WWE.
