WWE addresses major Gunther concern following RAW segment
WWE recently shared a social media update, addressing Gunther’s concern following the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The Ring General was involved in an intense exchange with former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
The Archer of Infamy won a Fatal Four Way match last week to become the number one contender for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Champion. The two stars came face to face in the opening segment of the November 11 edition of the red brand.
The former Judgment Day member fired brutal shots at the champion, claiming that the latter’s vibe started to fall after he defeated Priest to win the title at SummerSlam. He added that the 37-year-old started doubting himself, and his vibe further faded away after he lost to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. WWE recently shared a video of the segment on Instagram while asking if it was true.
“Is @gunther_wwe’s vibe fading? 👀🤔,” WWE wrote.

Wrestling veteran criticizes WWE for Gunther’s booking
During the opening segment, Ludwig Kaiser tried to attack Damian Priest, but to no avail. The two later competed with each other in a singles match. The 42-year-old won the contest to send a strong message to The Ring General ahead of their title clash at Survivor Series: WarGames.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Vince Russo pointed out that the World Heavyweight Champion had two opportunities to take out Priest. He criticized the wrestling promotion for not putting more heat on The Ring General by having him attack the former Judgment Day member.
“Again man, you know, you got Gunther out there twice tonight. You got two opportunities to put heat on the heel and you don’t put heat on the heel either time. I don’t understand how anybody gets over with no heat on the heels. Everything’s gotta start with heat on the heels,” Russo said. [From 06:36 to 06:58]
