WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg suggests a championship change at Saturday Night’s Main Event, proposing Damian Priest should capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther in their Triple Threat match also involving Finn Balor.

“I would love Priest to win this. I think Priest is awesome right now,” Rosenberg said on Cheap Heat podcast. “I think Gunther is getting a little stale. I’d love Priest in New York to beat him.”

Priest previously held the championship after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40. His reign ended at SummerSlam following interference from Finn Balor, leading to Gunther’s victory.

Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. offered a different perspective on the match outcome. “I don’t think there’s any chance he [Balor] wins the match against Gunther. I don’t see why you build up Gunther unless he’s going to have a long title run,” he stated.
