WWE announces major matches for next NXT

Building on the momentum of recent NXT developments, WWE has announced several qualifying matches for the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.

Nathan Frazer, who recently captured the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Axiom, will face Eddy Thorpe in a men’s division qualifier. The women’s division will see two qualifying bouts, with Zaria taking on Wren Sinclair and Stephanie Vaquer facing Jaida Parker.

Currently, Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans have secured their spots in the men’s bracket, while Sol Ruca stands as the sole qualifier in the women’s division.

Rob Van Dam reveals warm reception during recent WWE NXT appearance

Rob Van Dam has shared insights about his recent WWE NXT appearance. The WWE Hall of Famer discussed his experience during the latest episode of his 1 Of A Kind podcast.

Van Dam appeared on NXT 2300 from the ECW Arena, where he was initially seen talking backstage with Kelani Jordan. The segment took an unexpected turn when Wes Lee attacked him before Lee’s bout against Je’Von Evans.

“It felt really welcoming. Everybody from top to bottom was super cool, and everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome,” Van Dam explained. He noted potential future appearances, mentioning “unsettled business” with Lee.

Van Dam also indicated some original plans were altered. “More time is needed to get more information, but basically I think that you would not be wrong if you thought that maybe there was some plans that got changed, and if so, that it was done for the betterment of me,” he stated.
