WWE announces major title match for RAW debut on Netflix

Liv Morgan will defend the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley in the first episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix on January 6. The match was announced during the Netflix Kickoff special event.

The championship bout was made official by Adam Pearce following an intense verbal exchange between both competitors. Ripley, who secured the number one contender position, aims to reclaim the title she never lost in competition.

Morgan and Ripley’s storied rivalry enters a new chapter as RAW transitions to its new home on Netflix. WWE is set to develop additional elements to this storyline in the coming weeks leading up to their championship encounter.
