WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce sparked speculation today by sharing an image of CM Punk signing with the RAW roster last year. The post adds to a series of cryptic images Pearce has shared recently, featuring legends like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, and Kurt Angle.
Punk has been absent from WWE programming since October 7, when he had a brief confrontation with Seth Rollins on RAW. His last match was a victory over Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell bout at Bad Blood.
In a recent interview with Peter Rosenberg, the 46-year-old star reflected on his WWE comeback following his departure from AEW after All In 2023. “I’ve had the time of my life coming back,” Punk said. “I weigh this past year up against any year of my entire career.”
The Second City Saint made his surprising return at Survivor Series 2023 after the Men’s WarGames Match. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther appeared to reference Punk during this week’s RAW, adding to the intrigue surrounding his potential return.
The timing of Pearce’s post is notable with WWE Survivor Series 2024 approaching on November 30, the same event where Punk made his comeback last year.
