Jinder Mahal shared on Maven Huffman’s YouTube channel that WWE was planning a Punjabi Prison Match between him and Roman Reigns for Money in the Bank 2018.

According to the “Samoan Supremacy” account on Instagram, the original plans were scrapped, leading to a singles match between the two at the premium live event, with Reigns emerging victorious.

During his time in WWE, Mahal won both the WWE Championship and the United States Championship, but he was released from his contract earlier this year.

Currently, Roman Reigns is gearing up for the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series on November 30, where he’ll team up with Sami Zayn and The Usos to face a new version of The Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa.
