WWE cancels major plans for Seth Rollins due to injury

WWE has canceled planned Steel Cage matches between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed following Reed’s ankle injury at Survivor Series 2024. PWInsider reports the matches were scheduled throughout the holiday season before Reed’s injury during the WarGames match.

The injury occurred while Reed represented Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline faction against The OG Bloodline. Prior to joining Sikoa’s group, Reed engaged in a notable rivalry with Rollins, including matches at Crown Jewel 2024 and a victory on the November 18 edition of RAW.

WWE intended to resume their feud after Survivor Series, with the Steel Cage stipulation planned for upcoming live events. Reed’s injury has forced WWE to adjust its programming schedule, particularly impacting the holiday tour plans.

Drew McIntyre targets Bloodline members upon RAW return

Drew McIntyre has returned to WWE programming following his Hell in a Cell match absence at Bad Blood, immediately targeting Sami Zayn in a violent confrontation.

McIntyre’s focus on The OG Bloodline members suggests potential alignment with Seth Rollins, who has expressed concerns about Zayn and Jey Uso’s reunion with Roman Reigns.

Rollins enters any potential alliance with extensive championship credentials, having captured multiple world and secondary titles throughout his WWE career. The situation continues to develop as both competitors share common adversaries within The Bloodline faction.
