WWE has announced several matches for the upcoming RAW on Netflix, including a singles match between Chad Gable of American Made and a yet-to-be-revealed luchador.
According to PWInsider, Penta “El Zero Miedo” will be Gable’s opponent and will officially join the RAW roster. The former AEW star signed with WWE a few weeks ago, with the company airing a series of vignettes to tease his debut.
During the post-RAW on Netflix press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque hinted at Penta’s imminent arrival.
Following Penta El Zero Miedo’s departure from AEW, his brother Rey Fenix remains with the company due to additional time added to his contract for injury-related absences, despite not being featured on television.
In response to criticism of Tony Khan’s decision to keep him on the roster without utilizing him, Fenix took to social media to express his thoughts.
“I’ll have my chance to tell the truth,” he wrote.
He later added:
“No one stays in a place where they’ve been treated inhumanely.”
With the additional injury-related time, his contract is expected to extend through 2025. On Instagram Live, Fenix had previously addressed his situation.
“There are many unknowns, but some things shouldn’t be discussed. We must wait. Professionalism comes first. We can’t act like all these podcasts that leak things that shouldn’t be leaked. Never undermine our work. There are things that should always be respected, and many are forgetting everything Pro Wrestling has given them.”
