The first official match for WWE’s returning all-female event, Evolution 2, has been determined. Jordynne Grace is now set to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at the show.
On the June 24th edition of WWE NXT, Grace won a fatal four-way number one contender’s match to secure her title opportunity. The contest also featured Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, and Izzi Dame. Grace secured the victory by pinning Parker after executing a Spinning Rack Bomb.
The path to the championship match was a two-week process initiated by NXT General Manager Ava. On the June 17th episode of NXT, four qualifying matches took place, with the winners advancing to the final four-way bout. The qualifying victories were earned by Parker over Thea Hail, Legend over Kelani Jordan, Dame over Zaria, and Grace over Lola Vice.
The announcement of the championship match has generated positive reactions online, with fans expressing anticipation for the contest and speculating on a potential title change.
WWE Evolution 2 will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
