WWE continued building anticipation for Rey Fenix’s arrival by airing another teaser vignette during the March 21 edition of SmackDown from Bologna, Italy. The latest video revealed more distinct footage of the high-flying performer, including his signature hand gesture and rope-standing pose.
The brief segment marks the second promotional video for Fenix following his signing with WWE. Unlike previous teases, this vignette displayed unmistakable visual elements directly connecting to the luchador, removing any ambiguity about his identity.
Fenix’s forthcoming WWE career begins after his AEW contract expired, with television appearances there having ended months before his departure. His signing follows the path of his brother Penta, who joined WWE earlier and has already established himself within the company.
Current indications suggest Fenix will join the SmackDown roster, placing him on a different brand than his brother who currently performs on Raw. This brand separation doesn’t eliminate the possibility of an eventual Lucha Bros reunion within WWE.
The timing of Fenix’s official in-ring debut remains unannounced, though these escalating video teasers signal his first appearance may occur in the coming weeks following WrestleMania 41.
