WWE fan shares Cody Rhodes tribute tattoo; Cody comments
The WWE Universe is full of diehard superfans, many who have declared Cody Rhodes to be their all-time favorite. Several fans have put significant effort into expressing their fandom, and some take it a bit further with tattoos inspired by their favorite superstar. A noted Cody Rhodes fan has just revealed their latest tribute, and the man himself has publicly reacted.
WWE’s current Undisputed Champion is widely regarded as one of the most fan-friendly superstars, regularly going above and beyond to spend time with fans at the end of live events. Cody often tops merchandise lists and grants wishes with Make-A-Wish. He’s also had multiple fans share their tattoos dedicated to The American Nightmare.
A noted fan of the champion on social media took to X this week to share a photo and video of their new tribute tattoo. Paige from the UK, who has met Cody at events and had a viral in-ring moment with him, revealed her new Nightmare Family logo ink.
“Finally got a @CodyRhodes tattoo, I knew this had to be my first one back after finishing my cancer treatment [red heart emoji] Cody, I’ll follow you like you followed me until the end [saluting face emoji] #CodyRhodes,” Paige wrote with the photo and video below.
Rhodes then responded and gave a public endorsement to the artwork. His two-word reply was as follows:
“Looks amazing! [red heart emoji] [artist palette emoji],” Cody Rhodes wrote.
Paige went viral in October for wearing her Cody jacket while ringing the bell to mark ten months of cancer treatment. The young WWE fan noted on X/Twitter that she had spent well over $1200 on merchandise and action figures for her favorite superstar, in addition to the money she’s spent on events and other items.
Cody Rhodes update for WWE Survivor Series
It’s looking more like Cody Rhodes will miss the 38th annual WWE Survivor Series PLE. The Undisputed Champion previously shared his November schedule and fueled rumors on future plans as a few key dates were missing.
There was speculation on Cody being one of two names needed for The Bloodline vs. The Bloodline 2.0 inside WarGames, but the latest backstage update indicates that this is not the plan. Sportskeeda Wrestling’s own Dr. Chris Featherstone reports that there were plans to put Cody in WarGames at one point, but as of now, he does not have a match penciled in.
Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens is also not expected to happen at Survivor Series, but the grudge match should be confirmed in the near future. There are also rumors on WWE adding Owens or Randy Orton to WarGames, with Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed also speculated on.
