The Steel Cage Match between Punk and Rollins continues their ongoing rivalry. Punk defeated Rollins on the January 6, 2025, episode of RAW. Rollins later retaliated by interfering in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match on March 1, preventing Punk from winning.
WWE has scheduled several additional matches for the Madison Square Garden show. AJ Styles will have a promo segment with Logan Paul, the former United States Champion. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee will face The New Day in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Jey Uso is also scheduled to compete against Grayson Waller.
