WWE legend Kurt Angle provides update on his daughter’s wrestling career: “She’s gonna have a big future”
Former WWE star Kurt Angle has had a successful time in the Olympics, bringing in a gold medal in Freestyle wrestling. He recently talked about his daughter’s future in the sport.
Kurt participated in the Summer Olympics of 1996, after having worked hard in his training as well as juggling side hustles to support himself. In order to make it easier for modern athletes to do the same, he has been heavily involved in attempting to acquire donations for aspiring names. The star made the country proud by winning the gold medal, that too with a broken neck.
Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer also disclosed that his daughter Nikoletta was getting into a rhythm with her wrestling career. He stated that she had a bright future ahead of her in the sport.
“She’s gonna have a big future in wrestling. It makes me feel at ease that I know that she might end up getting paid to wrestle in college. It depends on how good she becomes,” Angle said. “But I think she’s going to be really good. And I think that’s a really cool thing to know, when you have kids that are going to be growing up and going to college. And that they might be having the opportunity to make money from NIL.” [H/T:Wrestlezone]
The WWE legend also revealed an interesting fact about him and his daughter
Kurt Angle is very close to his daughter and they often enjoy watching wrestling together.
However, they apparently watch men’s wrestling rather than women’s. In his comments, the WWE legend also mentioned how his daughters and he took a trip to Disney.
“So, [Nikoletta] and I are pretty cool together. We both like to do masculine things. We like to watch the boys wrestle instead of the girls, that kind of stuff. But I love being a girl dad. We just took our three daughters to Disney this past week,” he said. “It’s great to see their eyes light up when they go there. It’s like, these are my three little princesses, and I just love them very much.”
Kurt Angle is currently not active in the wrestling scene. Only time will tell if he ever appears in WWE again.
