WWE makes key decision on Roman Reigns’ future before Survivor Series
Roman Reigns will expand his television presence to Monday Night RAW as WWE prepares for its Netflix debut on January 6, 2025. While maintaining his role on SmackDown, The Tribal Chief is expected to become a central figure in RAW’s transition to the streaming platform.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, Reigns will focus heavily on RAW during the early months of 2025.
“We are told the plans as of now, we’ll see Roman Reigns featured on Monday Night Raw and Netflix more so than SmackDown for at least the beginning part of the calendar year,” Joey Votes reported.
The strategy will see Reigns featured prominently through major WWE milestones, including Royal Rumble and the build toward WrestleMania.
“Netflix knows exactly what Roman Reigns brings to the table as far as viewership and credibility, and they are all for it. So Roman Reigns will be a key part of Monday Night Raw past episode number one throughout the Royal Rumble and, you know, I would imagine all throughout the WrestleMania season,” the report added.
While no official roster changes have been announced, reports indicate Reigns will maintain his presence across both WWE brands as the company enters its partnership with Netflix.
