WWE adjusts its Saudi Arabia schedule for 2025 as Royal Rumble heads to Riyadh in 2026. For the first time outside the COVID-19 era, the company appears to be planning just one event in the Kingdom next year.
The announcement of the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh marks the first time this premium live event will take place outside North America. This historic move has prompted changes to WWE’s traditional Saudi Arabia schedule.
According to Fightful Select, internal discussions point to a single event in Saudi Arabia for 2025, targeted for June in Jeddah. This would be the first June event in the Kingdom since Super ShowDown 2019.
The shift represents a departure from WWE’s usual pattern of hosting two premium live events annually in Saudi Arabia – typically Crown Jewel in November and another event earlier in the year.
