A new era of dominance was cemented at WWE Night of Champions on June 28, where Solo Sikoa captured the United States Championship from Jacob Fatu, securing his first singles title on the main roster. The victory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, came as the direct result of his newly formed faction, which includes the returning Tonga Loa, the debuting Tala Tonga, and JC Mateo.

The championship match was decisively influenced by Sikoa’s allies. The coordinated interference saw Tala Tonga—formerly known as Hikuleo—deliver a chokeslam to Fatu, leaving him vulnerable to Sikoa’s signature spike for the pinfall victory. This display solidified the power of Sikoa’s group, now officially rebranded by WWE as “Solo Sikoa’s Family.”

This title clash was the culmination of a deep fracture within the family. The conflict ignited when Fatu betrayed Sikoa during the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and escalated on the June 20 episode of SmackDown when Fatu refused to declare his allegiance to Sikoa. This defiance led to Fatu’s immediate expulsion from the group.

Sikoa’s actions have drawn battle lines within the Anoa’i-Fatu dynasty, signaling a potential civil war. Jimmy Uso has already aligned himself with Jacob Fatu, and Zilla Fatu has publicly offered his support. The conflict is expected to intensify, with speculation of a multi-man clash at a major event like SummerSlam or Survivor Series.

In a post-match interview, Sikoa justified his recent actions, stating he was forced to “cut the dead weight” from his faction, a clear reference to the ousting of both Fatu and Jimmy Uso.

With Sikoa’s new family scheduled to appear on the July 4 edition of SmackDown, many analysts are already looking ahead to SummerSlam. There is strong speculation that a championship rematch between Sikoa and Fatu is imminent, with some predicting Fatu could reclaim the title to further their deeply personal feud.
