As previously reported, Chelsea Green advanced to the next round of the tournament for the new WWE Women’s United States Championship after defeating Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in a Triple Threat Match during last Friday Night SmackDown.

Belair, current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, was very close to winning the match but ended up getting distracted by a video on the arena’s big screen showing her partner Jade Cargill unconscious backstage, needing to be taken by ambulance to a Salt Lake City hospital.

The identity of Cargill’s attacker remains unknown at this time, though this could have major consequences for WWE Survivor Series.

Cargill is part of Belair’s team alongside Bayley, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY for the women’s WarGames Match, but if something serious happened on SmackDown, there’s a real possibility she could be removed from the premium live event and replaced by another wrestler.

Updates on this situation are expected in the coming hours.
