The Nigerian makes his entrance into the ring and sits down. Waller welcomes him while the crowd applauds his presence. Waller lists Femi’s achievements in just two years at NXT. Theory recalls that Femi started in the brand at only 24 years old and already dominates it. Theory mentions that many consider him a future WWE main eventer, although he and Waller don’t share that vision.

Femi points out that he also didn’t see them as NXT champions, and that’s exactly what happened. Waller recalls that at WrestleMania XL they won the WWE Tag Team Championship while Femi watched the show from the stands. Theory indicates that he and Waller are in the big leagues, RAW and SmackDown. Theory states that he and his partner have traveled all over the world, creating unforgettable moments.

Femi questions why they don’t hold titles. Maybe it’s because they talk too much. Femi states that he earned his position by fighting, not talking. Femi proposes a moment, a PLE and a title opportunity, on February 15 in Washington, DC, at Vengeance Day. The question is which of the two will accept the challenge. Theory starts walking toward the Nigerian, but Waller stops him. The Australian recalls that he’s been in the ring with some of the best, like John Cena and Kevin Owens. He then declares his desire to fight for the NXT Championship.

Sarah Schreiber interviews Izzi Dame in the stands. Dame claims to have no connection to The D’Angelo Family. They simply share a common enemy. Ridge Holland interrupts the interview to confront Dame, who cost him his NXT North American Championship. “Stacks” appears to clarify that he can’t address a woman that way. Holland mocks him, indicating that he won’t argue with NXT’s don’s messenger. Tension rises, but security intervenes to separate them.
