Following a high-profile debut at WWE Night of Champions on June 28, the official ring name for the performer formerly known as Hikuleo has been confirmed. The company’s official website and the talent’s own social media have established his new identity as Talla Tonga.
The initial reveal caused some confusion. After Talla Tonga appeared in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attack Jacob Fatu and assist Solo Sikoa in capturing the United States Championship, he was referred to as ‘Tala Tonga.’
The update to Talla Tonga aligns with a trademark application filed by WWE in 2024, suggesting the initial announcement may have been an error. The 34-year-old has since updated his social media accounts to reflect the official name.
This move solidifies his position within the new iteration of The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa. The faction now consists of Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the recently debuted JC Mateo, establishing a formidable new force on the main roster.
The main roster debut was the culmination of a year-long process for the former STRONG Openweight Champion. He signed with WWE in July 2024 and had been training at the Performance Center. Prior to Night of Champions, he competed in dark matches and defeated Kit Wilson in a match taped for Main Event on June 13, 2025. His arrival was a significant moment in the ongoing Bloodline storyline, immediately establishing him as a key player.
