WWE possibly planning return “bigger than CM Punk’s”? Major star hints at it

CM Punk shared his thoughts about AJ Lee‘s possible return to WWE during an appearance on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg. Punk suggested that Lee’s comeback would generate more excitement than his own return.

“She 100% supersedes me,” Punk said. “That’s the fun thing about wrestling fans. They look for stuff that necessarily isn’t there. That’s kind of the fun of it.”

Punk noted that Lee’s interest in returning has increased since his WWE comeback, though her schedule remains a factor. “It’s more of a workload thing for her. She is very busy. I’m not trying to not talk about it, but I’m also trying to temper people’s expectations,” he explained.

The former WWE Champion highlighted the current state of women’s wrestling, noting that recent WWE shows have featured women’s matches in both opening and main event slots. “You can’t tell me she wouldn’t fit in there,” Punk added.

CM Punk could join OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames

Reports suggest CM Punk might play a significant role at Survivor Series: WarGames. Wrestling journalists Corey Brennan and Mike Johnson speculate that Punk, rather than Seth Rollins, could join the OG Bloodline’s team.

Johnson points to Paul Heyman’s storyline involvement as a potential catalyst. “There is a reason why Paul Heyman is such an important lynchpin of this story right now,” Johnson said.
