RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and Xavier Woods engaged in a social media dispute today regarding the management of the tag team division.
Woods questioned Pearce’s handling of the division, prompting a direct response from the RAW GM. “You want to have a legitimate conversation? Knock on my office door in any arena on any Monday where we’re in the same city instead of running your hornblower on Twitter like a mark,” Pearce stated.
The exchange follows The New Day’s recent character shift after rejecting Big E’s offer to become their manager. Woods and Kingston stated E would not receive medical clearance to return following his neck injury in 2022.
Last week’s RAW saw The New Day face audience disapproval during their promo segment. Former WWE writer Vince Russo criticized the storyline development on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW. “That Kofi-Woods thing made zero sense. The dude broke his freaking neck, and you want me to believe that two of his closest friends are gonna cut a promo on him because he broke his neck?” Russo said.
The World Tag Team Championship match between The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh against The War Raiders is scheduled for tomorrow’s RAW.
