WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Results: John Cena breaks fans hearts; The Rock & Roman Reigns face off; The Undertaker returns (1/6/25)

We got a video with Triple H talking about the history of pro wrestling before Hunter showed up in the ring to introduce the WWE RAW Premiere on Netflix. He thanked the crowd and welcomed them to the show before The Rock showed up to kick things off.

The Rock talked about watching WWE before it was even on TV or Netflix when he was on the road with his dad Rocky Johnson. He talked up the Netflix partnership and thanked some of the producers and executives before changing topics.

The Rock thanked Cody Rhodes for carrying the company through 2024 and then acknowledged Roman Reigns as the Original Tribal Chief, saying that he would be watching tonight’s match against Solo Sikoa very closely.

WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Results: Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa – Tribal Combat

The match headed outside early on and Solo Sikoa sent Roman Reigns into the ringpost and the announce desk before tossing him back in the ring for a clothesline. Reigns came back with some clotheslines of his own before tossing Solo out of the ring where Sikoa hit a Spinning Solo on the announce desk.

Roman took a monitor to the face as the match went on and Solo even tossed the top half of the steel steps at the OTC. Reigns came back with some strikes but was sent into the ringpost again before the match headed back to the ring as fans noticed the giant Fortnite logo on the middle of the ring mat.

Solo hit Roman with a steel chair over and over in the ring before wrapping it around his neck in the corner. Sikoa ran in for the hip attack but Roman dodged the move. Roman hit back with the chair and missed a Con-Chair-To before Solo came back with a low blow and got another Spinning Solo.

Sikoa tried to take a table out but took the drive-by from Reigns before coming back with a Kendo stick. Reigns took some shots from the Kendo stick before hitting a powerbomb through the table. Tama Tonga broke up the pin and Jacob Fatu attacked Roman and hit a DDT.

Fatu got a takedown and hit the moonsault before Solo came in with the Spike but failed to get the pin! The referee complained about The Bloodline invading the ring and took a Samoan Spike. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn came and took The Bloodline out with Superkicks and the Helluva kick before Roman hit the spear on Solo for a near fall.

Sami and Jey took out Tama and Jacob with dives to the floor before Kevin Owens came in and hit a stunner on Reigns. Roman still kicked out and Kevin went for what looked like the piledriver but Cody Rhodes came out and attacked him, chasing him into the crowd. In the ring, Roman recovered and dodged a Spike before getting two spears for the win.

Result: Roman Reigns def. Solo Sikoa on RAW

Grade: A+


After the match, as Paul Heyman was about to put the Ula Fala around Roman’s neck, The Rock showed up, put the necklace around the OTC’s neck, and walked out.


The New Day came out to say that they would not be competing tonight because they hate the LA crowd, getting the fans to boo them endlessly.


John Cena was out next and greeted the LA crowd before thanking WWE and Netflix for making his return possible. He talked about possibly facing stars like Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, or Cody Rhodes in his final match before saying: “My time is up, their time is now.”

Cena teased winning the Royal Rumble and wondered if it could lead to a final world title reign for him. Cena then thanked the fans and headed backstage before we headed for the next match.


WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Results: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship match

Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez got involved early on but Rhea managed to turn a dive to the outside from Liv Morgan into a powerbomb on the announce desk. Morgan managed to get the Rana from the apron before tossing Rhea Ripley into the barricades. Back in the ring, Morgan got a near fall off a takedown before locking in a chinlock.

The champ hit the codebreaker before Ripley came back with a shining wizard knee strike. Liv took a big suplex before coming back with a backstabber and a DDT. Rhea got the Riptide but failed to get the pin before a distraction from Dom and Raquel allowed Liv to hit the ObLivion on a steel chair for a near fall.

Rhea came back with two Riptides in a row before picking up the win!

Result: Rhea Ripley def. Liv Morgan to become the new Women’s World Champion on RAW

After the match, Dominik was in the ring and tried to hug Rhea since he seemed to be attached to the championship belt. Rhea put the belt down and hit a low blow and the Riptide on Dominik before resuming her celebration.

Grade: A


As Rhea was walking out, The Undertaker’s music hit and he came out as the American Bad*ss on his motorcycle. Taker fist-bumped Rhea and chatted with her on the entrance ramp before riding out.


Chad Gable was backstage and demanded that Adam Pearce give him a match with the ‘greatest luchador’.

The Miz was in an interview and said that Cena didn’t deserve to go to the Royal Rumble since he had already won two of them. Karrion Kross showed up and told The Miz that he had to help him face The Wyatt Sicks. Miz tried to weasel out of the match but Kross tricked him into accepting it.

The Rock was seen backstage and said that he would be headed to NXT tomorrow night.

Jey Uso made his entrance with Travis Scott and both Pat McAfee and Michael Cole stood on the announce desk to hit the ‘Yeet’ before we headed for the next match.


WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Results: Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre

Jey Uso started off with a dive on Drew McIntyre to the outside before the bell and once the match started, dodged a Claymore right off the bat. Drew got some big chops and strikes in before Jey countered into a powerbomb from the ropes. Drew missed a second Claymore and took a superkick before the two traded fists in the middle of the ring.

McIntyre got the Futureshock DDT before finally getting the Claymore but Uso kicked out of it. Jey took the Glasgow Kiss headbutt and went down before Drew could get another Claymore. McIntyre went for the claymore again but Jey countered at the last second and got the rollup for the win.

Result: Jey Uso def. Drew McIntyre on RAW

Grade: B+


Gunther was in a promo and said that it was a new era for everyone except him since he was the champ and no one could beat him.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias was in a backstage promo when The New Day interrupted them.

Roman Reigns was backstage when Paul Heyman asked him when to arrange the victory celebration and the OTC said January 27. We got a tease for WWE 2k25 as a poster on the door that Reigns went through.


Hulk Hogan was out next on RAW with Jimmy Hart and said that WWE was making history by teaming up with Netflix before ripping his shirt off.


WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Results: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins was sent outside early on and CM Punk missed a dive before Seth hit a dive of his own. Rollins cleared the announce desk before Punk tossed him over the barricades. Back in the ring, Rollins fought out of the GTS before taking a big boot to the face followed by a swinging neckbreaker from the ropes.

Punk got a pair of high-knee strikes before Rollins came back with the GTS! Punk rolled out of the ring to avoid the pin before coming back with a stomp on Rollins! Rollins dodged the GTS and hit another one of his own before Punk kicked out of the pin.

Punk dodged the stomp and Rollins tossed him onto the announce desk, trying to get the pedigree and hit the move off a counter. Back in the ring, Rollins got a second pedigree but Punk kicked out again! The two men slapped each other in the middle of the ring before trading chops and strikes.

Rollins got the buckle bomb and the stomp but Punk put his foot on the ropes to break the pin. Rollins got the Superplex but Punk countered the Falcon Arrow into two GTS before getting the win.

Result: CM Punk def. Seth Rollins on RAW
