Drew McIntyre opens tonight’s RAW by walking through the Gorilla Position towards the ring amid boos from the crowd. Taking the microphone, the Scotsman recalls the physical damage suffered in the Hell in a Cell Match and reveals his return to Scotland following the death of a loved one. McIntyre emphasizes that only one person contacted him during his absence, exposing the lack of unity in the locker room and the environment prone to betrayal.

The Scottish Warrior confronts fans for their lack of support, reminding them of his sacrifice and blood shed in Hell in a Cell. He points to CM Punk and Roman Reigns as WWE’s true villains, warning their supporters of future consequences.

Sami Zayn interrupts the segment expressing sorrow for McIntyre’s family loss, clarifying that no one knew about the situation. The Canadian enters the ring and recalls his own sacrifices for the industry, highlighting the privilege of being WWE stars. Zayn emphasizes that everyone faces daily problems without blaming others. “They didn’t forget you, they built you!” he declares, downplaying McIntyre’s former title of “The Chosen One” and challenging him to an immediate match.

McIntyre responds by pointing out that Zayn can see his family weekly, unlike him who has relatives on another continent. The Scotsman suggests Zayn avoid confrontation, considering his weakened physical condition. Despite the arguments, Zayn initiates an attack, receiving a Glasgow Kiss in response. McIntyre prepares for the Claymore, but Jey Uso appears to defend Zayn, and together they force McIntyre out of the ring.

Backstage, the Pure Fusion Collective approaches Adam Pearce. Sonya Deville requests her inclusion in the women’s tournament following Kairi Sane’s injury-related absence. Pearce denies the request, clarifying that he won’t fill a vacancy created by the group’s own attack, and announces IYO SKY as the replacement.

In an interview with Jackie Redmond last week, Seth Rollins discusses his rivalry with CM Punk. When asked about the source of his hostility, Rollins states that Punk needed WWE, but the company didn’t need him. The former World Heavyweight Champion emphasizes that his match against the Best in the World is one of the most significant in current wrestling. Rollins admits he was bothered seeing Punk and Roman Reigns together. He says he knows his match will have the world’s eyes on it and promises to show fans a side of himself never seen before. He stresses that he needs to exorcise this inner demon before it completely consumes him.

Singles Match: The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis

Damian Priest thanks the War Raiders for their help tonight. Erik and Ivar state that while they never had a good relationship with Priest, they always maintained mutual respect. Priest assures them he’s ready to join them in war.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods interrupt Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett to criticize their opinions about the events involving The New Day. The crowd boos Kingston and Woods. Woods taunts Barrett, saying he doesn’t have the courage to lace up his boots and get back in action.

Kingston and Woods enter the ring to remind everyone they could have attacked Big E but didn’t. Kingston criticizes the fans for ruining a special moment, revealing he bought an airline ticket and show ticket for his mother to attend, only to witness this. Kingston declares his mother doesn’t deserve this situation and approaches her to question why she’s booing. Kingston asks his mother for a hug, which she refuses. Zayn returns to prevent another attack from Sikoa but ends up overwhelmed. Fatu hits a Moonsault on the Canadian before Sikoa finishes him with a Samoan Spike.
