Live Coverage:
The show kicks off with a video showcasing the night’s protagonists arriving at the venue: LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Jimmy Uso, and Charlotte Flair. Another video recaps the events of the 2025 Royal Rumble weekend.
Jey Uso opens the show, making his signature entrance through the crowd stairs while interacting with fans, who chant for more. He obliges, asking for his theme to hit again and celebrating with the audience. On the mic, Jey highlights his incredible week, basking in the love from fans after winning the 2025 Royal Rumble. The crowd erupts with chants of “You deserve it!” He references his recent clash with Gunther.
Cody Rhodes quickly responds, entering the ring to a massive ovation. He steps into the ring and shares a hug with Jey. With a mic in hand, Rhodes states he knows exactly what Jey wants to discuss. He glances pointedly at the giant WrestleMania logo overhead. Jey points out he has two choices for the main event: challenging Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship or battling Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Rhodes admits he’s been dealing with physical setbacks but expresses pride in Jey’s Royal Rumble victory. He reminisces about their shared triumphs, like their time as tag team champions, and assures Jey that he has no choice but to successfully defend his title at WrestleMania. If Jey chooses him as an opponent, Rhodes warns, this might be the last night they can share a lighthearted moment together.
The segment is interrupted by Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Tonga demands the crowd quiet down before handing the mic to Fatu. Fatu addresses Rhodes, reminding him that he stole the title from their family a year ago—now, they want it back. He coldly warns Jey that he won’t be the one to restore the championship to their bloodline.
An angry Jey fires off a Superkick to Tonga, sparking a brawl. Fatu takes control, setting Rhodes up for a Running Umaga, but Jey cuts him off with another Superkick. Rhodes follows up with a Cody Cutter, then teams with Jey to clear the ring via a Double Clothesline. Tonga and Fatu regroup outside as the segment closes.
Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven
— Belair applies a “KOD” on Niven, followed by the pinfall to secure the victory.
Nick Aldis talks with Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who are excited in his office. The wrestlers thank the General Manager for everything. Carmelo Hayes appears, and Carter and Chance leave the area. Aldis informs Hayes that he will have a match tonight. Hayes refuses, reminding him that he has already competed twice recently. Aldis then calls out Akira Tozawa, the wrestler whom Hayes prevented from participating in the Royal Rumble. Aldis finds it fair that the Japanese fighter gets a chance for revenge. Confident, Hayes changes his mind and accepts the match. Tozawa taunts Hayes, suggesting that he will lose the fight. Hayes stares down Tozawa, but Aldis intervenes, ending the discussion.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa enter the ring, greeted with boos from the fans. Gargano recalls that they defeated the Motor City Machine Guns twice at the Royal Rumble, proving that they are the best duo in the world. Ciampa makes it clear that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley do not deserve another title shot, despite the respect they have for them. In a sarcastic tone, Gargano and Ciampa ask the audience to observe a moment of silence for the Motor City Machine Guns, further provoking the fans.
Tag Team Match: WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson)
– Prince scores the pinfall over Ciampa.
After the match, the Brits celebrate on the entrance ramp, while Ciampa and Gargano are left perplexed in the ring.
The Miz talks with Andrade backstage. Miz says that the Mexican wrestler surprised him last week. Andrade admits he learned from him and then leaves the area. Cody Rhodes appears, and The Miz laments the attitude of today’s talents, promising to always support him. Rhodes responds that he doesn’t need his help. Miz reminds him that Rhodes could face Jey Uso at WrestleMania, which would be a great story. He then walks away, leaving Rhodes thoughtful.
Drew McIntyre enters the ring and announces his return to SmackDown. He recalls that he left the Royal Rumble furious after being eliminated. When he got home, his wife asked why he was so upset. That’s when he received a call from Nick Aldis, who promised that, on the blue brand, he could showcase all his potential. Now, his focus is on Cody Rhodes.
Jimmy Uso interrupts the promo, mocking McIntyre and saying that he only has excuses. He warns that, tonight, McIntyre will have to get through him and LA Knight to achieve his goal. McIntyre taunts Jimmy, “mistaking” him for his brother Jey. Jimmy responds that he’s very different from his brother and that he’ll win tonight’s match to get closer to WrestleMania. He promises to beat McIntyre up to reach his objective.
LA Knight appears. “The Megastar” reminds Jimmy that, a year ago, he stopped him from winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. Knight says there are three inevitable things in life: death, taxes, and McIntyre’s complaints. He promises both men that, tonight, he’ll give them a reason to cry when he runs over them to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
Men’s Elimination Chamber – Qualifying Match: Jimmy Uso vs. Drew McIntyre vs. LA Knight
– Drew won with a Claymore.
Backstage, Byron Saxton asks Damian Priest about McIntyre’s victory. Priest says he’s going to the Chamber, but Braun Strowman interrupts him, saying he needs to qualify first. Priest claims he will defeat Strowman and Fatu.
After the main event of RAW, Owens attacked Sami Zayn with a package piledriver. Zayn had to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher. From his car, Owens said he still carries the scars from his match with Rhodes and has been in pain for a week, something that will likely never fully go away. He blamed Zayn for not helping him while Rhodes tried to end his career and for helping Reigns during the Royal Rumble.
Tessitore reports that Zayn will be out indefinitely.
Singles Match: Akira Tozawa vs. Carmelo Hayes
– Carmelo won with a Nothin’ But Net.
Charlotte asks if Memphis loves or hates her. She says she’s the fans’ obsession because they’re obsessed with her looks, her championships, and her last name. “Did you really think I wasn’t going to come back and win the Royal Rumble?” As Flair was saying Tiffany Stratton’s name, the champion’s music hits. Stratton congratulates her and welcomes her back. She says she’s her biggest fan. After Flair got injured, the fans cared for a day, until Stratton came along. Flair responds, “Sweetheart, you speak when I say you can.” Stratton says she’s been compared to Charlotte since she appeared on TV. She asks Charlotte to pick her so that when she beats her, she won’t be the next Charlotte, but the only Stratton. Flair calls Stratton a child begging her to make her a star. She tells Stratton to get on her knees and beg Flair to choose her.
Nia Jax and Candice LeRae appear. Jax says she spoke to Aldis and, instead of facing five women in the Elimination Chamber, she only has to beat one. She’s facing Stratton for the title next week, and if she wins, Charlotte can choose her.
Alexa Bliss enters for her Elimination Chamber qualifying match against LeRae.
Singles Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Candice LeRae
– Alexa won with an Abigail DDT.
Backstage, Saxton is with Green and Niven. If Green beats Naomi, she qualifies for the Elimination Chamber. B-Fab and Mia Yim confront Green. Yim says she’s coming for her title. After they walk away, Zelina Vega appears and also says she wants the title. Green complains that she needs a bigger security detail. Niven asks how many people hate her.
Tag Team Match: Jimmy Uso & Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga
– Rhodes won after a CrossRhodes on Tama.
After the match, a hooded figure hits a Samoan Spike. Solo Sikoa reveals his face as the show goes off the air.
