WWE star absent for 341 days should not return to become first-time-ever champion, believes Bill Apter (Exclusive)
WWE recently introduced a brand new title, the Women’s United States Championship. Naturally, this has led to speculation as to who will be the first to win the prestigious belt.
Given the hardly any lack of talented stars in the women’s division, it is really anyone’s pick at this point. Some of the biggest names on the roster are understandably the top picks for many, such as Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and others. However, veteran journalist Bill Apter does not agree with one of these names being the first potential holder of the belt.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s UnSKripted, Bill Apter explained why he did not think Charlotte Flair was a good pick to be the inaugural WWE United States Champion. He stated:
“So my mentality is this. Charlotte’s an excellent choice. But I think she is too established,” the veteran explained. [9:29 onwards]

Charlotte has been out of the squared circle with an injury for almost 341 days, and fans eagerly await her return. It remains to be seen what she does when returning to WWE.
