Dominik Mysterio expressed interest in facing CM Punk again, citing their personal history dating back to 2010. The rivalry stems from an incident where Punk, then leading the Straight Edge Society, disrupted Aalyah Mysterio’s birthday celebration.

The two competitors recently clashed in December 2023 during non-televised events, with Punk securing victories in both matches. Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Mysterio addressed their encounters and expressed confidence in potential future matchups.

“Now that I’m my own man, I would love to get my hands on him again,” Mysterio stated. “I’ve seen what he can do. It’s nothing special. I know his moveset.” He also criticized Punk’s recent performances, describing them as “an old man trying to do his thing.”
