Knight’s anticipated move gains credibility following his United States Championship loss to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series: WarGames. The title change aligns with plans to keep the championship on SmackDown while Knight transitions to RAW.
The rivalry between Knight and The Bloodline could continue on the red brand, as Solo Sikoa is scheduled to face Roman Reigns on RAW’s Netflix premiere episode on January 6. Knight might emerge as an ally for Reigns against Sikoa’s faction.
Before his potential departure from SmackDown, Knight faces immediate challenges from The Bloodline. Following last week’s attack by Sikoa’s group, despite intervention from Andrade and Apollo Crews, General Manager Nick Aldis could announce a six-man tag team match for this week’s episode.
A clash between Knight, Andrade, and Crews against Sikoa’s faction might also set up future storylines. Roman Reigns could make an appearance during the match, potentially affecting its outcome and advancing his conflict with Sikoa.
