WWE: Update on Big E’s Future
Former WWE Champion Big E will voice a character in Marvel Studios’ upcoming animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” premiering January 29th on Disney+.
Marvel Studios Animation has announced the addition of Big E to the cast of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” The former WWE Champion participated in voice recording sessions for the animated series, with showrunner Jeff Trammell confirming his involvement during an interview with Phase Hero’s Brandon Davis.
During the discussion, Trammell shared details about securing Big E for the project.
I asked him, he was like ‘yeah’. He’s the best.
Trammell noted that Big E began recording his role while still recovering from injury.
We’ve been recording him since… a few years ago. The first time he recorded he was still wearing the neck brace, so we’ve been sitting on this for a while. It’s insane, we’re very, very fortunate to have E. He’s incredible, he’s been the absolute best to work with, I love him.
Big E addressed his involvement in the project through social media.
