The Judgment Day officially expanded its ranks on the June 30 episode of WWE RAW, but the logic behind the addition of Roxanne Perez has drawn criticism from former WWE writer Vince Russo.

The segment revolved around finding a replacement for the injured Liv Morgan as one-half of the women’s tag team champions. Finn Balor proposed that Perez should fill the spot while Morgan recovers. He then initiated a vote among the faction members to confirm the decision.

Both Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio showed visible apprehension about the idea. However, they ultimately voted in favor of Perez joining, solidifying her place in the group.

While appearing on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Russo expressed his confusion with the creative direction, specifically targeting Mysterio’s choice to approve the addition of Perez.

“Why in God’s name would Dominik Mysterio vote for that? Like that makes absolutely zero sense, and bro, if he doesn’t vote for it, and then Raquel reluctantly votes for it, because if she doesn’t, she could be stripped of the titles [sic], now you got a three to one, they win anyway. It makes zero sense.”

The storyline was necessitated by Liv Morgan suffering a shoulder dislocation during the June 16 episode of RAW, which is expected to keep her out of action for an extended period.
