WWE veterans address plans for possible retirement, reveal if it will happen soon

The Hardy Boyz have dispelled speculation about potential retirement, citing improved physical condition and renewed energy during their current TNA Wrestling run. Matt Hardy, who debuted in 1992, addressed their future during an appearance on the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling podcast.

Discussing their commitment to maintaining peak performance, Matt explained:

I think if you would have asked us this a couple years ago, maybe it would have. But this run in TNA, and the way we both feel physically, like (Jeff) said, these ice baths, the inflammation is down, and our bodies feel better, and it’s a ritual we do every single morning when we get up, and we’re definitely dedicated to it, it’s in our routine, no doubt

The brothers, aged 50 and 47 respectively, recently captured the TNA Tag Team Championships, demonstrating their continued impact in professional wrestling after departing from AEW.

Jeff Hardy Reflects on Career Trajectory

In a separate interview with WFAA, Jeff Hardy contemplated how different choices could have altered his career path:

I don’t know, probably….the way I was living life in my 20s and 30s… if I was living life the way I’m living life now, oh my gosh, there’s no telling. I would probably be bigger than John Cena, today

The younger Hardy emphasized his natural affinity for wrestling and current wellness routine, crediting these factors for his ability to continue performing at a high level. The duo remains focused on their TNA run, drawing inspiration from veterans like Dustin Rhodes while maintaining an open-ended approach to their in-ring future.
