WWE’s NXT Roadblock special will present an unprecedented night of cross-promotional championship matches on March 11 at Madison Square Garden’s Theater, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The main event will feature a high-stakes championship confrontation between NXT Champion Oba Femi and TNA X-Division Champion Moose, with both titles reportedly on the line. This development represents a significant elevation from the match’s original conception, which initially involved only Femi’s NXT Championship.

The championship clash materializes following weeks of calculated buildup that began with Moose’s surprise appearance on NXT last month, where he directly challenged Femi. The TNA veteran subsequently secured his championship opportunity by defeating Lexis King in his first-ever WWE ring appearance.

Two additional cross-promotional championship matches will support the main event. NXT Women’s Champion Giulia will face NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer in another title-versus-title encounter. According to the Wrestling Observer, the winner of this high-profile women’s match could potentially move into a program with former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who recently signed with WWE.

The card’s third championship confrontation features tag team action as WWE legends The Hardy Boyz defend their TNA Tag Team Championships against NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Unlike the other matches, this contest will only have the TNA titles at stake. The Hardy Boyz made their NXT in-ring debut on February 25, where they defeated Charlie Dempsey and Wren Sinclair of the No Quarter Catch Crew.

This championship-focused special represents one of NXT’s most significant presentations since its revamp, particularly given the prestigious Madison Square Garden Theater venue and the unprecedented level of cross-promotional championship competition with TNA Wrestling.
