2K Reveals WWE 2K25 Features and Game Modes

WWE 2K25 will launch on March 14, 2025, with pre-orders beginning January 28. The game features Roman Reigns on the standard edition cover, while he shares The Bloodline Edition cover with The Usos, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa. The Undertaker graces the cover of the Deadman Edition.

The game introduces several new features, including 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Dynasty, hosted by Paul Heyman. This mode celebrates the Anoa’i family dynasty, featuring matches with Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, and Jacob Fatu. Players can relive historic matches or alter their outcomes through fantasy matchups.

WWE 2K25 debuts The Island, a new interactive world exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series XS. Players pursue a WWE contract while impressing Roman Reigns through quests, challenges, and live events. The game includes a roster exceeding 300 playable characters from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, spanning multiple eras.

The franchise introduces intergender wrestling for the first time, allowing matches between male and female competitors across all game modes. Additional features include the return of Chain Wrestling, new match types such as Bloodline Rules and Underground matches, and barricade diving mechanics.

MyGM mode now supports online multiplayer for up to four players, allowing general managers to compete worldwide. MyFACTION returns with updated features, including new Faction Wars nodes and World Tour mode replacing Proving Grounds. MyRISE presents a unified storyline featuring Bayley and Kevin Owens attempting to take control of NXT, while Universe mode sees the return of the Promo system.

The Standard Edition, priced at $69.99, offers dual-gen entitlement for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-order bonuses include the Wyatt Sicks Pack featuring five playable characters. The Deadman Edition ($99.99) and The Bloodline Edition ($129.99) launch on March 7, offering additional content including bonus packs, persona cards, and early access.
