Drew McIntyre proposes alliance with Bloodline member before Jimmy Uso attack

Solo Sikoa declared his intent to supplant Roman Reigns as Tribal Chief during SmackDown’s opening segment, prompting Drew McIntyre to present an unexpected proposition. The confrontation ended with Jimmy Uso launching a surprise assault on McIntyre.

Sikoa addressed his upcoming January 6 Tribal Combat match on RAW’s Netflix premiere, stating he would emerge as the new Head of the Table and holder of the Ula Fala. He directed a message to Reigns, suggesting the former champion “hop on a boat to the island of irrelevancy.”

McIntyre interrupted the proceedings to confront The New Bloodline. The Scottish Warrior referenced their history, noting how Sikoa’s 2022 debut at Clash at the Castle cost him the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Reigns.

It pains me to stand so close to Solo and not beat him down, McIntyre stated. Do you wonder when I’m coming for you when you go to sleep at night? You caused my family pain and suffering, which caused my own pain and misery.

McIntyre acknowledged their shared objective of eliminating Reigns, indicating a potential understanding with Sikoa. However, Jimmy Uso intervened with a crutch attack, seeking retribution for previous incidents involving himself and his brother Jey.

Past alliance could influence Tribal Combat outcome

The dynamics between McIntyre and Sikoa carry additional complexity due to their February encounter on RAW.

During McIntyre’s match against Cody Rhodes, Sikoa’s Samoan Spike interference proved decisive in securing McIntyre’s victory.

This unpaid debt, combined with McIntyre’s ongoing campaign against The OG Bloodline, positions him as a potential factor in the January 6 Tribal Combat. Supporting Sikoa would serve dual purposes – settling his obligation while advancing his vendetta against Reigns.
