Former WWE Champion demands WrestleMania 41 spot from Roman Reigns through shocking deal

A new theory has emerged regarding Roman Reigns’ potential Royal Rumble victory and its implications for WrestleMania. Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts presented an intriguing scenario involving CM Punk and Paul Heyman on his recent podcast episode.

The situation stems from the recent WarGames match at Survivor Series, where Heyman returned to introduce Punk as the final member of the OG Bloodline. During this reveal, Punk mentioned that The Wiseman owed him a favor for assisting Reigns’ team.

Roberts elaborated on how this favor could reshape the WrestleMania landscape. Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, he outlined a possible scenario where Punk could leverage Heyman’s debt:

I think that the more interesting thing would be Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble and Paul Heyman makes Roman Reigns give his WrestleMania match to CM Punk. And then you could do Roman Reigns vs. The Rock and CM Punk vs. whoever, Rollins, Cody, whatever you wanna do. And that way you still have a world title match open for John Cena if you wanted to do it that way.

Potential challenge to Roman Reigns’ position

The dynamics within the OG Bloodline continue to evolve as RAW prepares for its Netflix debut. Sami Zayn’s position within the group faces increasing scrutiny ahead of the January 6 Ula Fala match against Solo Sikoa.

Recent attacks on both Zayn and Jey Uso by Sikoa’s faction have highlighted Reigns’ absence since Survivor Series: WarGames. This distance has created tension within the group, particularly affecting members who regularly appear on weekly programming.

The relationship between Reigns and Zayn carries additional complexity given their history. Initially, Zayn’s inclusion in the group came through Jey Uso’s endorsement rather than Reigns’ direct approval, setting the stage for potential future conflicts.
