Hulk Hogan urged to reconsider WWE TV appearance after crowd reaction on RAW, suggests ex-WWE
WWE legend Hulk Hogan faces hostile crowd reaction on RAW’s Netflix debut as Vince Russo suggests reconsidering TV appearances.
Hulk Hogan encountered a challenging reception during his appearance on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere at the Intuit Dome. The WWE Hall of Famer, accompanied by Jimmy Hart, faced significant crowd opposition while promoting his Real American Beer brand and celebrating WWE’s Netflix partnership.
Hogan addressed the audience about WWE’s latest venture:
In the past, I’ve had a whole bunch of partners down the line. I had incredible partners, like the Macho Man Randy Savage. I’ve had giant-sized partners like Andre the Giant. But the greatest partner the WWE has ever had, is the fact that tonight, we’re making history, and the WWE has tag teamed up with Netflix, the greatest tag team partner of all time.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo discussed the incident on Legion of RAW, suggesting Hogan might need to reevaluate his television appearances:
A year from now, I’ll be 65, and bro, it’s like I just know that’s my time to walk away. These guys just don’t experience that at all. I think Austin has. I think that’s part of not seeing him in this arena anymore. I think that’s part of me. It’s amazing to me, I’ve seen people getting up in their 70s and just not knowing when it’s weird bro. If I’m Hulk, and I’m experiencing that at this point in my career, something’s got to tell me, ‘Brother, maybe it’s time.’
Mixed reception marks WWE legends’ Netflix debut
While Hogan faced a challenging crowd response, other WWE legends received warmer welcomes during the historic broadcast.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson opened the show and later appeared alongside Roman Reigns, John Cena announced his Royal Rumble entry, and The Undertaker congratulated Rhea Ripley following her championship defense against Liv Morgan.
