WWE has selected Washington D.C.’s Entertainment & Sports Arena to host NXT Vengeance Day on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The announcement comes as the developmental brand prepares for tonight’s New Year’s Evil event at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Ticket sales begin January 10 through Ticketmaster, with an exclusive presale launching tomorrow at 10 AM EST. Fans can use the code NXTLIVE until Thursday, January 9 at 11:59 PM EST for early access.

Shawn Michaels, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, shared his thoughts on bringing the event to the nation’s capital:

Following a historic night, we are excited to bring the first premium live event to Washington, D.C. in nearly nine years with our great partners at Events DC … . We look forward to showcasing our extraordinary talent in front of a rich wrestling town come February 15.

The event will feature NXT Champion Trick Williams, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo, and NXT Women’s North American Champion Fallon Henley. Vengeance Day will stream live on Peacock starting at 7 PM EST.

The Rock set for surprise NXT appearance

The Rock has announced his appearance at tonight’s NXT New Year’s Evil event following his memorable showing on RAW’s Netflix premiere. The announcement came as Johnson was departing the Intuit Dome in Inglewood:

NXT, tomorrow night at The Shrine. I’ll see you there.

His appearance holds special significance as his daughter Simone serves as NXT’s general manager. The Johnson family’s wrestling legacy runs deep, connecting to the famed Anoa’i dynasty that includes WWE Hall of Famers “High Chief” Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson, Rikishi, Yokozuna, and The Wild Samoans.

NXT New Year’s Evil will air on The CW at 8 PM, with KTLA serving as the exclusive home for weekly NXT programming every Tuesday.
