"Logan Paul is the future of WWE," says former World Champion

The Miz, a two-time WWE Champion, drew a comparison between Logan Paul and NBA’s Victor Wembanyama. Paul, who debuted in WWE in 2022, quickly established himself as one of the company’s main stars, featuring in memorable matches.

Wembanyama, in just two NBA seasons, already shows signs that he will be one of basketball’s biggest names, combining size and skill in a unique way. During his appearance on NBA Today, The Miz was asked about who in WWE could be compared to Victor Wembanyama.

I see Victor as the new face of the NBA. When I think about WWE and someone who’s emerging and could become the face of the company, I think of Logan Paul. Some people might not like it, but I brought Logan Paul in and he’s brought a lot of attention to WWE and himself, plus he’s doing an exceptional job in the ring.

Recently, Paul signed a contract to join the WWE RAW roster, ahead of the show’s debut on Netflix.

The possibility of a match between Logan Paul and John Cena at WrestleMania 41 has been ruled out. According to WrestleVotes, despite internal discussions, several members of the creative team opposed the idea.

The main concern is that Logan Paul might not be the appropriate opponent for Cena’s WrestleMania farewell. There’s a consensus about the need for either a historic Pro Wrestling name or a rising full-time talent for this moment.

During an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, Cena acknowledged the importance of celebrities like Paul in WWE:

The landscape has changed, and because of that change and our better distribution, you can find us in more places. The perception of what we can offer has changed. With your moves, you show that you really care, and that means a lot. You went from special guest to full-time superstar in five minutes, and that’s very refreshing.
