Braun Strowman eyes WWE Royal Rumble return after lengthy absence

Braun Strowman signaled his interest in the upcoming Royal Rumble through a social media post, marking his first major statement since being sidelined with the flu. The premium live event is scheduled for February 1 at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium.

The former Universal Champion shared a workout video on Instagram, addressing his potential participation in the men’s Royal Rumble match:

I don’t think it’s gonna be to much of a problem to toss anyone out of the #RoyalRumble just gotta politic my way into it like the ones that already have!!!!

Strowman’s last WWE appearance came on December 27, 2024, when he defeated Austin Theory on SmackDown. His previous extended absence occurred following a torn groin injury sustained during the Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed.

The timing of his recovery could align with the Royal Rumble event, though his participation remains unconfirmed.
