Paul Heyman details long-term creative philosophy

During his IMPAULSIVE appearance, Heyman shared insights into his storytelling approach. When discussing potential booking scenarios, he emphasized the importance of planning storylines years in advance:

My answer is I wouldn’t book him just for 2025. My question would be, who is Logan Paul’s opponent for WrestleMania 42, and more importantly, who is Logan Paul’s opponent for WrestleMania 43? If we’re just looking at ‘who is his opponent for (WrestleMania) 41 or 42,’ then we’re narrowcasting here.

Heyman revealed his writing methodology, explaining how he develops storylines:

I have never written a script or answered an idea without knowing the final page. I write the final page first. Here is the end, it may transition to something else, but here is how this story ends. How do we get there? How do we milk it? How do we tease them? What’s the intrigue? What are the other characters’ dimensions that play off of this? How does this story affect all others?

The discussion recalled Crown Jewel 2022, where Reigns retained his championship against Logan Paul.

AJ Styles Questions Logan Paul’s Privileged WWE Position

During a recent episode of RAW Recap, AJ Styles expressed concerns about Logan Paul’s immediate placement in high-profile WWE positions without traditional wrestling experience.

AJ Styles has raised questions about Logan Paul’s accelerated path to prominence in WWE during his appearance on RAW Recap.

Styles, who spent over two decades working through major promotions like TNA and NJPW before joining WWE in 2016, compared Paul’s rapid rise to spoiling a child.

It’s like giving your kids everything they want before they even work for anything. They’re spoiled, right? And I would say it’s kind of the same thing with Logan Paul. He thinks he can just come to a WWE ring. Not an independent wrestling ring like the rest of us had, or maybe at least the PC to train a little bit. He has done none of that and thinks he belongs in our ring? We’ve paid our dues. We’ve done what we’ve had to do to get to where we’re at. Logan Paul hasn’t.

Styles pointed out that Paul headlined Crown Jewel against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship during his rookie year, marking only his third match in the company.

The former WWE Champion stated he plans to make Paul endure significant pain, which will either strengthen Paul’s resolve or cause him to leave wrestling entirely.

Styles has issued a challenge to Paul for a match, which could potentially take place at WrestleMania in Las Vegas on April 19-20.

Logan Paul confronted a fan during his entrance on Monday’s Raw at Madison Square Garden. The Former United States Champion spotted someone wearing an “I Hate Logan Paul” t-shirt while making his way to the ring.

Paul approached the fan at ringside, pointed at the shirt, and suddenly ripped it off, throwing it away before proceeding to the ring. The fan appeared shocked as Paul continued his entrance.

After securing a microphone, Paul began cutting a promo about himself before eventually addressing AJ Styles. This segment occurred just one day after his participation in the Sidemen Charity Match.

The confrontation with the fan was likely planned, as WWE often arranges such interactions with planted audience members to enhance segments.

Later in the show, Paul’s segment led to a confrontation with comedian Andrew Schulz, who was sitting ringside. When Paul approached and questioned Schulz about his attendance, the comedian replied that he came to see the Steel Cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, adding that nobody in New York came to see Paul because the city only appreciates “real wrestlers.”

AJ Styles interrupted when Paul attempted to bring Schulz into the ring, preventing any potential physical altercation with the comedian.
