Adam Copeland announced plans to retire from professional wrestling in approximately two years. During an interview with Up Close, Copeland, 51, discussed his vision for his final match in AEW.
I want to wrestle someone who will be part of AEW’s future and just have fun, experience it together and then say ‘it’s your turn now’. I’m thinking two years. Being away because of the broken leg kind of extended that. It was six months away, so I’ll add that time
Copeland began his wrestling career in 1992 and retired in 2011 due to a neck injury. He returned to the ring at the 2020 Royal Rumble and signed with AEW after three years.
Sheamus Details Edge’s Final WWE Match
Sheamus revealed information about his match against Edge on SmackDown in Toronto during August 2023.
