Baron Corbin addressed speculation about his professional wrestling future following his WWE release in 2024. The former United States Champion responded to fan comments during a social media discussion about Rey Fenix’s AEW contract situation.

When a fan suggested Corbin sought employment with AEW, he responded:

I don’t want a job but nice try. I’m cool trust me.

Corbin signed with WWE in 2012, starting in NXT before moving to the main roster. His achievements include winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, capturing the United States Championship, and defeating Kurt Angle in the Olympic gold medalist’s final match.

The former Money in the Bank winner appeared backstage at AEW Worlds End 2024 to visit friends. Prior to his departure, Corbin competed on SmackDown in a tag team with Apollo Crews.
