WWE Announces Date and Location for Charlotte Flair's Return

Charlotte Flair announced her return to WWE during a vignette aired on SmackDown, confirming her entry into the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Flair has been inactive since December 2023, when she suffered a knee injury during a match against Asuka on SmackDown. The injury resulted in tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus, requiring surgery in January 2024. During her rehabilitation period, Flair shared updates of her recovery progress through social media.
The 2025 Royal Rumble premium live event takes place on Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match earns a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41, with the choice to challenge either Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley or Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.
