Report: Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Injured

According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, Apollo Crews has been added to WWE’s list of injured performers. During the discussion between Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer, Crews sustained the injury after taking a back cracker maneuver in a recent match.

We need to do something here. This is two in a week…..actually three, because Apollo Crews, I checked on that one. He is also hurt. They don’t have an update yet, but yeah, it was exactly what I talked about last night. He took the back cracker. And I don’t know if it’s his pec or his shoulder or what. Yeah, he was hurt.

Dave Meltzer observed Crews clutching his shoulder during the incident.

Alvarez noted this marks the third injury within a seven-day span, following Dakota Kai’s concussion and JD McDonagh’s broken ribs and punctured lung.
