The Street Profits returned to WWE during the Tag Team Championship match at Royal Rumble. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins interfered in the 2 Out of 3 Falls match between Motor City Machine Guns and #DIY when the score was tied 1-1.

Ford and Dawkins targeted Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley first, with their attack creating an opening for Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano to secure the victory.

Following their success against the Motor City Machine Guns, the Street Profits turned their attention to the newly crowned champions, launching an assault on #DIY.
