AEW has removed Miro from its official roster page. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reports that Miro and AEW have agreed to end his contract after negotiations that started when he asked for his release in Fall 2023.

Miro last competed at Worlds End in December 2023, where he defeated Andrade. He had not appeared on AEW programming in 2024.

The Bulgarian wrestler joined AEW in 2020 after his WWE departure and won the TNT Championship during his first year with the company. His activity decreased significantly through 2022 and 2023, with sporadic television appearances.

Saraya has spoken openly about the emotional impact of the leak, revealing it caused “stress-induced anorexia” and led to suicidal thoughts.

Bryan Danielson Provides Update on Potential In-Ring Return Amid Health Concerns

Former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson reveals 50/50 odds of wrestling again while prioritizing health over surgery during recent Fightful interview.

Bryan Danielson has provided an update on his wrestling future following his AEW World Championship loss to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024.

Danielson has not appeared on AEW television since dropping the title to his former stablemate.

During a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Danielson addressed his current health situation and wrestling future.

I mean my priority is my health. I think of the odds of me wrestling again ever are probably 50:50 at this point. Because, you know, my desire is to not get neck surgery. If I can live comfortably without neck surgery, but it means that I wouldn’t get to wrestle again, I think I’d be okay with that trade off.

Danielson expressed hesitation about undergoing another neck procedure, citing negative past experiences.

I had neck surgery before and it wasn’t a good experience. And it kinda messed up my spine and the upper area for the rest of my life. Like, now my spine is altered. If we can get to a point where I’m a little bit more comfortable and without needing neck surgery, but they say, ‘You can’t wrestle anymore’, I think that’s a fair trade off. I had a good run, kid.

The American Dragon had previously announced intentions to step away from full-time wrestling after losing the championship.

Danielson won the AEW World Championship at All In: London 2024 when he defeated Swerve Strickland.

This reign extended his previously announced retirement timeline, which had been rumored to conclude around that event.
