Charlotte Flair vs. Tiffany Stratton Confirmed for WrestleMania 41

Tiffany Stratton defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax during SmackDown at the Capital One Arena. The match, which began the third hour of the broadcast, marked day 42 of Stratton’s championship reign. Charlotte Flair observed the contest from backstage.

The championship match demonstrated Stratton’s resilience as she executed a double stomp from the top rope for a near fall. After surviving a Samoan Drop from the top rope and a leg drop, Stratton avoided Jax’s banzai drop and delivered a spinebuster. The match concluded in disqualification when Candice LeRae interfered during Stratton’s offensive sequence.

Following the match, Nia Jax and LeRae initiated a post-match assault. Trish Stratus intervened on Stratton’s behalf but found herself overwhelmed by Jax in the corner. The situation culminated with Jax delivering a leg drop to Stratus before officials directed her to exit the ring.

Charlotte Flair then made her entrance as Jax and LeRae departed. The 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner addressed the fallen champion:

Sit up if you can, Tiffy. The Queen chooses you. I’ll see you at WrestleMania.
