Randy Orton has not appeared on WWE television since November 2024, with his injury status believed to be a storyline development. Following his WWE departure in late 2024, Baron Corbin spoke with Orton and discovered information suggesting a specific individual wanted him out of the company.
During an appearance on Busted Open, Corbin discussed potential matchups that never materialized with several WWE competitors:
There’s guys that I haven’t got to work with that would have been fun. Damian Priest would have been awesome,” Corbin said. “I never worked with Cody, Gunther, and I never had a real program with Randy, which would have been fun.
Corbin also mentioned LA Knight as another talent he could have engaged in significant storylines with during his WWE tenure.
